For a while, I have been looking for roommates and previously posted this. I am posting it again now as I am still looking for roommates.
I live in the Canaveral Groves subdivision in Brevard County, FL by myself with 3 pets in a 4-bedroom house with 2208 sqft of air-conditioned living space. Two of these bedrooms are currently not being used. I am looking for roommates to occupy at least one of these rooms.
The first of these bedrooms is 10.5 x 12 feet and is available immediately. The second bedroom is 13.75 x 14 feet and might be available after this October. Both bedrooms come with walk-in closets and are already furnished.
My motivations for wanting roommates are social and financial.
The social reason is simply that I would like the company. I think it would be nice to share my home with friends. If you are someone I already know and am good friends with, you'll most likely be immediately welcomed to stay. Otherwise, I would need to get to know you better before I'd let you move in. We could hang out a couple weekends in a row, get to know each other, and see if we'd get along well.
The financial reason is that I am looking to generate some extra income from the rent collected. How much the rent would be is negotiable, but it would be at a rate that is mutually beneficial. By that, I mean, do not expect it to be small, like just $100/month or something like that. There is not much to gain on my part financially from collecting that small an amount. However, whatever rate we agree upon, you can expect it to be less than what you'd pay if you rented an apartment and paid your own electric, water, cable, and telephone bills. The rent will include the aforementioned utilities. You would also be covered under my homeowners insurance.
Keep in mind, though, that if you are unemployed, I cannot take you in. You must already have a job with sufficient income, or have one waiting for you to begin work. I cannot afford to let you stay here for free while you job hunt, or allow consistently late payments on rent.
If you are interested, reply to this post and we can discuss the possibilities.
