[Flafurs] Moderation

You know I have to laugh at how long this has been going on (54
emails). This is honestly the most activity this list has had in
months.

Now for the reason I'm emailing. I don't disagree with the moderation
of the list in all honestly. Though I do disagree with the level of
strictness it has. Outside of that I'm ok with it, because a lot of
the time I do it naturally anyway, though I do make mistakes just like
everyone else.

Now onto a bit of food for thought. If these guidelines are indeed
rules, and laws of the Internet, then your ISP should be the one
enforcing them. Meaning that, if you didn't follow them, you would no
longer have Internet access. Pretty scary huh.

As far is the "Laziness" is concerned. I don't think it was lazy, but
more of a choice for someone to write that way. I think the ones that
left or complained about it the most, felt as if a freedom/choice had
suddenly been taken from them, that they didn't know they had. Which
happens everyday, with our government (and don't tell me it doesn't,
because it does). People are afraid of losing though freedoms and
choices, so this is an area that needs tread carefully.

Now for a small poke at Simba (not an attack). The IETF is a great
site to look at and read, however anything related to FloridaFurs, is
not registered with them, and thus forcing us to follow their rules is
pointless. You want to follow them as guidelines that fine, but until
this mailing list is registered with the IETF, do not force people to
follow them.

I don't have a problem with trying to follow guidelines, but there
does need to be some level of balance for mistakes made (which I think
was said awhile back).

On a side note. If you want to make changes (which is fine) but make a
post, and lets discuss it first, before throwing it out there. :)
