I see that this conversation has gone from 'Moderating the list' to
'Are furries civilized'.

Moderating the list: A level of common courtesy is required on both
ends. Let's meet a mid-point. Simba could explain things up front and
offer time periods and keep to them, and people will stop complaining
about moderation. I understand that this is all 'volunteer work', but
volunteer work is still a level of accepted responsibility. He wants
to moderate, that's fine. Just be sure everyone is on the same page
and everyone is being told when they are being moderated, what
messages aren't going through, why, and when the moderation will end.
This isn't a big request.

As for furries. They are as diverse as people. Please do not
pigeonhole just to support your complaints about the need for
moderation. Like people, they aren't perfect. Like people, there are
more poor than rich.. and most work hard to get by and the majority do
make bad mistakes. There's drama, and there will be irrational people.
At the same time, there are some truly gifted individuals in this
fandom. Please don't generalize like this. Thanks.
