Simba,
My dear. I understand and agree with your point of view here. I always trim
my posts and keep everything nice and tidy. If I am responding to someone, I
only keep that little bit of text and it's in pretty little brackets. For
those who are using a computer, no, it's not a big deal to skim past a few
lines of untrimmed text. I can understand, however, how those who are
checking their email from a cellphone or sidekick or whatever may have a
harder time reading the new posts when the emails are filled with links and
such, which is why Simba is making this point. It's nice to only read the
new text. Still, no one is really complaining about it. However, I do have a
question.
If people didn't respond and react to your other million posts about
netiquette, why do you think they will now? I think it's a lost cause, hun.
So go get yourself some chocolate and take a hot bubble bath. :) In the
words of Bobby McFerrin, "Don't worry, be happy."
