Jeez! Sounds like your company needs to invest in uninterruptible power 
(UPS) systems. Losing hours of work every time there's a power blip 
isn't necessary; UPS systems are cheap and give you plenty of time to 
checkpoint your work.

Might want to bring it up next time you talk to your boss. :)
