Using Flafurs
To post a message to all the list members, send email to flafurs@lists.floridafurs.com.

Mailing List Etiquette:

* Please don't over quote messages.
The text that you add to the message should 
not be shorter than the quoted portion of the message.

* Reply, or "post" after the original message, 
or the part of the message you wish to reply to.
In other words - post at the bottom!
Do not reply at the top, quoting the entire previous mail underneath.

* Cut out, delete, "snip" any text that you are not replying to,
or is not relevant.

* Don't quote "sigs" - the little bits of text at the end 
of a message that people use as "signatures" in mail.
You should not quote these unless you are going to say something about it.

* Please avoid profanity and abusive behavior; remember that this
is a family oriented mailing list. Don't say things that you
wouldn't want your kids to hear because chances are someone's
kids WILL be reading it.

* Please be reasonable with the length of your signatures. As a
good rule of thumb a signature should be shorter than the
message it is appended to.

* Please unsubscribe from this mailing list if you are going to
be away from your mail server for any length of time. Nobody
likes to get "mailbox full" or "unknown user" messages bouncing
back on every post.

* Please use personal e-mail to reply to messages when
appropriate. Use the List only for messages which concern, or
could be interesting to, multiple members of the List

* This is a HTML free list.  In the interest for keeping this list
available to all, HTML formatting and attachments are
automatically removed from messages sent to the list.  HTML
formatting includes, but is not limited to such things as the use
of different fonts, bold type, colored text, or embedded images.

* This is an attachment free list.  Do not send binary files, or
attachments.  Binary files include images, programs,
word-processing files and other type of files.  Instead please
place these files on a web page and then post the address to the
web page.

* The reply-to line is set to the List address by default. When a
letter is sent over the List with a reply-to line already on it,
that line is left alone. Some users' mail software automatically
places a reply-to line (with the user's address) in the header;
others' software doesn't. Please make sure the To: address(es)
is/are correct whenever replying, publicly or privately, to any
List message.

Subscribing to Flafurs

Subscribe to Flafurs by filling out the following form.

    You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.

    You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.

    If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options.
